I am not currently enrolled in school. Am I still eligible?
As long as you meet the other eligibility criteria (citizenship, discipline and the ability to accept the full benefit) you are still considered eligible for the program.
I am not sure what my academic status is because I changed my field of study transferred institutions, or switched academic advisors. Am I still eligible?
You are strongly encouraged to apply, although depending on your specific circumstance you may or may not be eligible. If you meet one of the above criteria, the "Academic Status Explanation" section will likely appear on your application. If it appears, explain your current status in that section as specified in the Application Instructions.
Your response will be used to determine whether you are considered at the early stages of your graduate studies in a discipline supported by the fellowship. Please note that only complete applications will be reviewed.
I have a specific question regarding my academic status that wasn't address on this page. How can I find out if I'm still eligible?
Please feel free to e-mail us directly at ndseg@asee.org. Be sure to provide us with as much information as possible so we can answer your question in a timely manner.
